Monongahela Valley Hospital Employees Health Plans Pennsylvania Health Care Plan (PHCP) is the medical insurance plan offered by Monongahela Valley Hospital, Inc. (MVH) to its eligible employees and dependents. The plan is funded by MVH with health plan administration delegated to Vale-U-Health (VUH). As plan administrator, VUH provides benefits administration and pre-certification / utilization review to MVH enrollees. VUH is also responsible for establishing and maintaining a participating provider network for PHCP which consists of MVH, more than 140 physicians with privileges at that hospital, and key area ancillary providers. This comprehensive network allows VUH to offer a continuum of health care providers and services locally. VUH has also contracted separately with InterGroup Services Corporation giving plan enrollees access to a statewide network of hospitals, facilities and physicians of virtually every specialty.
